“Little Lies” is a standalone by the best-selling author Helena Hunting , writing as H. Hunting. Told in dual perspectives , Get ready to meet Kodiak and Lavender!!

If you are a crazy obsessed fan of this author Just like me then you will know that this book is about the children of a few of her previous characters just by listening to the character names! Lavender is the daughter of Violet and Alex, and Kodiak is Lainey’s son. Both the characters have known each other from their childhood.

The way this author writes is just so compelling for me! Kodiak and Lavender have known each other right from the moments they were in their dia[ers. He was always her rock , the person who understood her. The one who always rushed to help her whenever she wanted. That is until he destroyed it all. He told her the truth about his feelings and no one had ever made her feel that unwanted. She swore to never be that close to him again. But now , she is home again and Kodiak in front of her 24/7. Staying away from him now might be even tougher than before and even more hurtful because she is still cutting her down. His words still hit her like fists. Looking at him , she can’t see him changing that behavior anywhere in the near future.

Kodiak was the boy who was the smartest of them all. Lavender was the only person who got him and he never wanted to let her go. She was everything for him , and there was nothing that he wouldn’t do for her. Even if it meant fighting all their demons for her. That is until he realised how bad he was for her. So he told her lies. Pretty little Lies. Lies that were horrific , cutting and shredded her soul. At that time , it was what was necessary to do. But now seeing her in front of him , even more beautiful is like a test for him. He can’t get close to her , which means he has to destroy her again. Because no matter what Lavender says, he is still Toxic for her.

I was so badly hooked in this book! Like one moment I started the book , and then a few hours later I was done! I just couldn’t stop once I started! It was just so amazing , and had pretty much everything a good book should have. Kodiak and Lavender's relationship was the purest form of love and I loved the way they supported each other. This book was another masterpiece by this author and Damn if she didn’t do an amazing job of piecing it together! A definite recommendation to all the contemporary romance lovers out there! If you are into themes like childhood friends to enemies to lovers and Second Chances , then don’t hesitate to one click this one!
