Overall Opinion :
I liked this one as a one time contemporary read. The angst was good and I loved the grovel too! Although it was a bit dumb for me. You see, these main characters could have prevented a LOT OF pain and angst had they communicated with each other just once instead of letting things fester. Their misunderstanding seemed very dumb to me and they could have solved it all in seconds but nah , they had to be stubborn.
Monica writes some amazing romance but lately her books have been missing that spark El Diablo and Complicate Me had. I don't know what to say about this book so I guess I'll leave it to you all. The angst is good, it's a pretty straightforward book with no plot twists and a little bit of groveling which also I think was not needed had they communicated.
I'll recommend this one to all the contemporary romance loving people who love genres like single parent, hidden child, second chances and grovel!
