Plot Summary :
Maybel knew that getting with Drew was a bad idea. He never promised her anything but what she didn't expect was for him to betray her like that. Just when she had barely come out of that shock , she gets to know that she has a family now. A family she never wanted but will have to live with now.
Drew knows that what he did was messed up , but he will make Maybel understand that there was a reason why he had to break her heart. She was the one person whom he felt a connection with and he would make her understand z no matter how much time it takes.
Overall Opinion :
The second book of the duet is here! I have been waiting for this one ever since that cliffhanger for the first book which completely ruined me. I wanted that happy ending so bad!
Maybel and Drew have a very twisted tale with a lot of triggers but it was the small sweet moments that kept me hooked. I absolutely loved reading about these two and all the new side characters that had a bigger role to play in this duet. I am hopelessly waiting for Sebastian's book next now!
Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there.
